Reporters who are eligible to register as press representatives will receive passes for the Montréal International Game Summit. Reporters must be accredited and belong to an editorial team covering the games industry. No sales, public relations and marketing representatives or other personnel will be eligible as press representatives. All reporters must present photo IDs and meet at least two of the following criteria:

• A business card or a copy of the publication's masthead including the reporter's name, title (editor, editor-in-chief) and the publication's logo.
• True copies of two articles signed by the reporter pertaining to game development and/or gaming that were published within the past six months.
• A letter signed by the reporter's editor-in-chief on the publication's letterhead stating that the reporter has been assigned to do a story on the 2005 Montréal International Game Summit.
• Anyone who does not meet these conditions and who wishes to attend the Montréal International Game Summit must register as a participant and pay the registration fees.
